Everyone at Meadowpark Nursery School had a wonderful week before the Christmas holidays. The babies all enjoyed a Christmas party on Wednesday and they enjoyed listening and dancing to Christmas music and singing Christmas songs. In the Elmer room the children took part in some lovely Christmas chalking activities and they were singing along to some familiar jingles during their parties as well as dancing to the beat.

The children in the Lower Nursery have been doing Christmas puzzles and painting with Christmas sponges.  They have enjoyed the ‘Santa workshop’, wrapping presents, using bows, boxes and different craft materials. They played party games such as musical bumps and the Rudolph Hokey Cokey.

In the Upper Nursery the children have made Christmas and winter collage pictures, painted with Christmas sponges and used Christmas cutters to make shapes with playdough.

On Thursday, the children in the Upper and Lower nursery classes enjoyed a  Christmas party with Magic Wizz to entertain them - they loved wearing their party hats and eating all the lovely food provided…and there was a surprise visit from Father Christmas.
