At Holiday Activity School we do a wide variety of fun activities. Here is a brief resume of our four days in January:
In our art projects Abbie’s favourite was making mosaic penguins, using intricate small pieces of colourful paper and sticking with lots of glue!
One of the most stunning design projects that everyone enjoyed, was making cuckoo clocks. We used cereal boxes and newspaper to make the cuckoo clocks. We painted them in bright colours and attached a clock face. We then used felt and feathers to make the cuckoos.
In the hall we play all sorts of games and sports.Charlie and George enjoyed playing football. Amelia had fun dancing around and practicing her “ballet”. Emily said how she “Loved playing tennis in the hall”.
Finally there is always time for fun and imagination. We took our cuddly toy pets on a journey to the zoo. We used chairs to make a train. Emily told us the zoo was in Luxembourg. Before we set off Amelia filled up the train with petrol. Emily was the driver and Abbie provided us with drinks and snacks. It took us 50 minutes to get there! We saw elephants and pink birds, we decided they were flamingos ! On the way back Amelia was our driver. We were a bit tired, but we all had great fun on our adventure.
