This week the pupils in Hawthorn Class have been researching into what it is like in very cold areas around the world, as well as locating different areas of the world using the points of the compass. In particular, they have been looking online at Antarctic and have been working on some frosty artwork!

Maple Class have been looking at 3D shapes and have designed their own 3D robots which are fast taking shape and being painted in bright metallic colours.  The poetry composed this week was about . . . robots.

In preparation for Chinese New Year Oak Tree Class have been making a collaborative dragon display and also working on alliteration, one of the favourite alliteration poems being, “An alligator and an angry anteater always ate all the ants and apples”, by Madison and Charlotte.
