The children in Oak Tree Class have had lots of fun with their new topic of “Bears”. Literacy, Art, P.E. and Homework all featured bears!
The children decided to create a large model of “Paddington Bear” and having chosen appropriate fabrics, they have started to make him some clothes to wear.
The P.E. lesson was based around a bear song with actions.
The children coloured templates of teddy bears and wrote stories or facts about their bears and shared them with the older children from Year 1.
Some children had the opportunity to take “Buddy Bear” home for a sleep-over!
A record of the fun they had is now in a class scrap book.
