Debi Evans, who writes the Secret Adventures of Rollo books, visited Meadowpark for World Book Day. The author talked to the pupils and introduced the dog who inspired the character of Rollo. Father Christmas and some of his elves took time out of their busy schedual to visit Meadowpark. During the Nursery Christmas party they met the children and spread some festive cheer. Pupils were also treated to a magic show from Mr Whizz.
Pupils at Meadowpark School and Nursery have been helping to raise money for BBC's Children in Need. In the nursery, children painted pictures of Pudsey, wore spotty clothing and made tasty treats to sell. In the school, pupils sold pudsey accesories and wore their pyjamas! Meadowpark held a potluck party on Friday, the first of many events to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who attended and cooked food to share.
