School works up a sweat for Sports Relief

Pupils in the school took part in several sports challenges today to raise money for the BBC Sport Relief appeal. Activities included the Wake and Shake Dance, Beanbag Throw and a HIIT workout. Well done to all those who took part! For more photos, please see the gallery on our facebook page.

Author visits Meadowpark on World Book Day

Debi Evans, who writes the Secret Adventures of Rollo books, visited Meadowpark for World Book Day. The author talked to the pupils and introduced the dog who inspired the character of Rollo. Virgin Money Challenge

Silver Birch are taking part in the Virgin Money Challenge and practising their skills in entrepreneurship. They formed two companies which made sweets and cakes. They sold these to pupils and staff at the school. According to their balance sheets, the net profit was over £150. Well done to all the children who took part.... Read more

Sucess at hockey tournament

Pupils from Rowan and Silver Birch, took part in a hocky tournament, where 15 other teams were competing. Meadowpark played four matches, drawing two, winning one, and narrowly losing their final match 3-2 in the most exciting encounter.
