Pupils at Meadowpark School and Nursery have been helping to raise money for BBC's Children in Need. In the nursery, children painted pictures of Pudsey, wore spotty clothing and made tasty treats to sell. In the school, pupils sold pudsey accesories and wore their pyjamas! School pupils and their families enjoyed an action packed weekend of camping in the Meadowpark grounds. This year's theme was 'Not all superheroes wear capes'. Teams from the fire brigade and the police visited the school and demonstrated how their equipment worked. A huge thank you to the PTA for organising the event.
Year 4 moved into their new classroom today overlooking the River Thames. Well done to Mr Kular and his team of builders for working so hard through the summer to get it finished.
The pupils at Meadowpark School performed a range of songs, poems and stories as part of the Harvest Festival. Cricklade Town Hall was packed with friends and family. Well done to everyone who performed.
The Year 5 hockey team played four different teams at Kitebrook School today. They lost one match, drew another and won their last two, scoring 3-0 in their final game. Well done to everyone who took part.
Willow Class visited Avebury today to learn more about the Stone Age. The class visited the largest piece of free standing stone, which weighs around 102 tonnes! They also had time to sketch the arrow heads, pottery fragments and animal skeletons in the museum.
Meadowpark held a potluck party on Friday, the first of many events to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who attended and cooked food to share.
