Open Days

About Meadowpark’s Open Days

Meadowpark holds four Open Days a year to allow parents and their children to visit the school. These usually take place on a Friday and Saturday in spring and autumn.

Open Days allow parents to see the school on a normal working day and talk to the teachers about how they can best help their child learn and grow. We encourage parents to bring their children along and there are free activities for children to enjoy.

Please see below for details of our next Open Days and how to book.

If you are unable to visit on an Open Day, we are happy to give you a guided tour at a time to suit you. Please contact us to make an appointment.

Discovery Day

Your child has talent, discover where it lies! Will they paint like Picasso, write like Rowling or make new discoveries like Darwin?

We believe every child can excel with the right teaching. During our Discovery Day we will be holding free workshops in music, sports, art and drama for your child to explore their talents and for you to find out the best ways to help them succeed.

If your child is aged 6 years or over, your child can take an 11+ sample aptitude test for grammar school entrance exams. Our teachers will be available to discuss the results and how you can support them in their school work.

For parents with younger children who are about to start school, there will be a special talk on how to help your child prepare for school.

Meadowpark Nursery will be open for activities for children under 3 years old and for tours of the facilities.
