Out of School Childcare
Breakfast and After School Clubs
Meadowpark School offers an excellent choice of out of school childcare. This includes school clubs at convenient times to suit the needs of busy working parents.
Parents may choose to drop off their children before school as early as 7.30am. The school day starts at 9am for the Pre-Prep pupils and 8.30am for the children in the Prep School.
We offer breakfast from 7.30am in our nursery school building in Calcutt Street. Teaching assistants supervise sessions in the school library from 8am. Children may read, play with toys and games or socialise with their friends.
After the school day ends at 3.30pm, pupils can stay at Meadowpark for a huge variety of after-school clubs, all led by qualified specialist staff.
The after school clubs are in addition to the French, music, swimming, art, sport and drama lessons with specialist teachers which are all timetabled into the curriculum during the school day.
All children can enjoy a good tea and stay in school until 6pm. Then when parents collect them they can head home for a relaxed evening. The older children in the Prep School can even complete their homework in supervised homework sessions.Book a visit
Holiday club enables parents to leave their children in a safe and fun environment. Sessions are flexible, allowing parents to book care as and when required, whether it be a for a morning or a whole day from 8am to 6pm.
The holiday club is run by our own staff who know the children well. Children can take part in fun activities such as crafts, baking, IT, gardening, model-making, outdoor games or sports. There are also local trips to the library or the park and specialist sports coaches may also visit to run multi-sports or athletics. Lunch, snacks and tea are provided.
