Pupils from Rowan and Silver Birch, took part in a hocky tournament, where 15 other teams were competing.
Meadowpark played four matches, drawing two, winning one, and narrowly losing their final match 3-2 in the most exciting encounter. The final whistle had gone but Meadowpark had been awarded a short corner, which according to the rules had to be played. The ball was whisked in to the centre area and as the opposing defenders charged, it was carefully played back out to our left-wing who shot and scored making the final score 3-2!
All of the children enjoyed the experience, and we look forward to doing even better next year.
